A NEW ALGORITHM FOR MEASURING PULSE TRANSIT TIME FROM ECG AND PPG SIGNALS

Pulse transit Time (PTT) is a physiological parameter that based on characteristics of the pulse waveform, direct indicator Cardiovascular Diseases (CVD). The defined as time taken for arterial to travel from heart peripheral site. It commonly derived Electrocardiogram (ECG) and Photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal calculations calculated interval between peak electrocardiogram R-wave point photoplethysmogram (PPG). In this study, we propose new lowcomplexity algorithm measurement, using these two signals detecting (PTT- foot) peak). We built 37 subjects dataset containing simultaneous recording calculation consists foot points R-peak signal. Intermediate operations such normalization thresholding detect local maxima minima, are processed noisy signals, improved by windowing temporal analysis. obtained results promising first step. average sensitivity (SEN) accuracy (ACC) were (97.5%, 96.82%) respectively R-peaks detection (97.77%, 97.64%) (PPG-peak) detection. (PPG- (98.33%, 94.14%).
